Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has sent a message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for talks. Shahbaz said, ‘My message to the Indian leadership and Prime Minister Modi is that let’s sit at the table and talk sensibly on issues like Kashmir between us.’
Shahbaz Sharif said this in an interview with Al Arabiya News Channel. This statement of Shahbaz has come when Pakistan is struggling with unemployment and inflation. The prices of food items and diesel and petrol are skyrocketing. The media of Pakistan is openly praising PM Modi and saying that India is powerful in every respect.

1. Kashmir: The message should go to the world that India is ready for talks
Shahbaz said, “Human rights are being violated all the time in Kashmir. India has taken away the rights that Kashmiris got under Article 370. In August 2019 Autonomy has been abolished. Atrocities are being committed on minorities in India. All this should stop at any cost so that the message goes to the world that India is ready for talks.
2. India-Pakistan Relations: It is up to us to live in peace or keep fighting
He said, “India and Pakistan are neighbors and they have to live with each other. Do it or keep fighting. We fought 3 wars with India. It only gave people poverty, unemployment. We have learned our lesson. We want to live in peace. We want to solve our real problems.”
3. Appeal to Modi: Pakistanis don’t want to waste their resources on ammunition
PM said, “We want to end poverty. We want prosperity and progress. We want to provide education, health facilities and employment to our people. We do not want to waste our resources on bombs and ammunition. This is the message I want to give to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We are both nuclear powers. Fully equipped with weapons. Let there be a war. If this happens then who will survive, what happened to tell.”
